Welcome to Argonne! Link to this section
My name is Amy Abdallah-Rojas, and it is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I have the
opportunity to introduce myself as your principal. This is my second year as principal at Argonne, and I am truly honored to serve this community, and to be able to work and collaborate with passionate educators and families alike who are dedicated to fostering supportive, academic and experiential learning environments and
experiences for all students.
I believe that education should foster a child’s confidence in themselves, both socially and
academically, while cultivating their sense of curiosity and agency. I also believe that learning is
a unique experience for every student, and should bring opportunities to learn about who they
are and the world around them through collaboration, critical thinking, and self discovery.
Humor and compassion keep me going in the day to day, and the creative, sometimes messy and
non-linear process of teaching and learning keeps me ever curious. I am a lifelong learner who
is committed to working with you in support of implementing a shared vision of a beloved,
inclusive educational community where all students flourish and shine. 🐺❤️
Sincerely,
Amy Abdallah-Rojas

environment to understand why the flower isn’t thriving and make changes accordingly.”
